Hi Everyone – sorry, we forgot to post this on Friday, so this week you have to WORK FAST!
I drew this little guy a while ago and never painted him in. I found him under a stack of papers when I was cleaning up this weekend, and thought there might be an interesting story to tell.
So, for this week’s writing prompt:
Write us a story about what’s going on in this picture. What kind of animal is riding this unicycle? Where is he going? What is he saying to the worm – or what is the worm saying to him? (Or is it a her?) How does the unicycle rider feel? How does the worm feel? What the heck, how does the unicycle feel???
I called the creature on the unicycle a squirrel, but he doesn’t have a squirrel tail. He doesn’t really look like a chipmunk either. He might be a groundhog. Whatever he is, he sure has good balance.
Send your drawings to Matthew by next Tuesday afternoon so that we can post them on the blog next Wednesday.
