Hello there. I’d like to introduce you to Sad Taco. Why is he sad? I cannot tell you. In fact, I kind of hoped that you would tell me.
I have various theories. His shell seems to be cracked. His lettuce looks limp. He seems to be alone. But this is only speculation. His sadness might have more to do with the traumas of childhood when he was but an innocent and uncooked corn tortilla.
This week’s prompt:
Tell us the tale of Sad Taco. Tell us why he is sad, who is responsible, and whether there is any hope. Tell us of his adventures, his trials, his thoughts, and his deeds. Use verbs and adjectives to make the story lively and descriptive. And use some punctuation so we can understand what you’re trying to say.
Write your story, give it a name, and send it to us by next Monday afternoon (October 7) so that I can post it on this blog next Tuesday.
Happy writing (about a sad taco)!
I recognize the irony.
