There aren’t often lots of things to do around here in Chestertown, but this weekend is the annual Chestertown Tea Party Festival. (Parents: note there is no affiliation to the political Tea Party – WE WERE HERE FIRST!!!!)
There’s all kinds of things going on, including parades, storytelling, tours of historic Chestertown, and a thrilling reenactment of the tossing of the tea from the schooner Sultana (made all the more exciting because a number of redcoats also get tossed). The full schedule can be found HERE.
So come on and visit, enjoy the fun, and do your best to avoid getting pinched by the Chestertown crab:
or getting kissed by the wandering wench!
See you this weekend!
