On Tuesday, I took Kato to the doctor for his three-year checkup. He made it clear from the very start that he lacked enthusiasm for the exercise. Not even the thrill of having his blood pressure taken for the first time could steer him from his funk.
I tried to point out the many positive aspects of health care, foremost of which is health. Kato was not persuaded by the argument. He made it clear that he found my logic flawed.
He grudgingly stood to be weighed.
The verdict, he weighs slightly more than a husky cat.
He remained despondent during the official measuring.
2 feet, 9.5 inches, every one of them pure Kato.
After the various measurements were taken, a series of unpleasant moments transpired in which a flu shot was administered. Nobody needs to see documentation of that sort of thing.
Here, instead, was the happy aftermath.
An advantage of being rather small is that ice cream is encouraged.
