As a special thanks to those of you who are supporting our launch by joining the Bobbledy Books club right away, we will be giving away a limited-edition, signed and numbered, archival print of a panel from The Girl With Frogs in Her Ears to everyone who signs up in the first three days (that is, by midnight on Thursday). The first person to sign up gets #1, the second #2, and so on. The prints are 8.5″ x 8.5″ and suitable for framing.
Here’s the scene, a shot of Vera (the Girl of the title) and her friend the seven-armed ogre enjoying the blissful (but ultimately short-lived) thrill of hearing the sounds of things happening in the world.
We’ll ship the prints with The Girl With Frogs in Her Ears when it goes out in a few weeks.
In the mean time, a few days after kids sign up, they will be receiving something in the mail—a special welcome to Bobbledy Books. We call it the Bobbledy Blob.
This funny-looking, five-headed crayon is a helpful companion for the young artist on the go. It’s easy to hold and fun to draw with and the perfect solution when Mom says you can only bring one crayon to the grocery store.
Bobbledy Books is all about helping kids deal with the tyranny of mothers.
