Matthew and I are trying to be better about tweeting these days. We both tend to use lots and lots of words, so trying to shrink down anything into 140 letters is actually more work than not. But we’re trying. (Follow us at @BobbledyMom and @BobbledyDad and @Idiotsbooks)
And so last week, Matthew tweeted me a picture of his breakfast:
I hate oatmeal. Matthew tries to eat it every morning. I can eat about three bites before it starts feeling like lumpy glue to me. I’ll eat it, but I’m never happy about it.
But I must say, after looking at this photo, my overactive imagination made me feel a little sorry for that oatmeal face. So I decided to let him eat a person for breakfast for once.
Sometimes it feels good to draw something for no reason other than feeling sorry for oatmeal. Which means it probably won’t ever happen again. I can only stand to feel sorry for oatmeal once very 30 years or so.
