Hello Everyone! Well, business first: We’re switching up our auction schedule so that the auction ends on Sunday instead of Monday (we got a lot of complaints that people were at work or driving to work and missed the chance to put in a final bid) (what?! People work?!). So this week’s auction is going up today! You can bid on it here.
I finished coloring it in, so the new version looks like this:
I especially like how the little wormy turned out. He’s so fleshy.
This has caused a bit of a domino effect, because we’d like to continue to use writing prompt responses from you guys as the description for the auction. SOOOO… we’re going to start sending out drawing and writing prompts on Wednesdays (instead of Fridays) and have them due back to us on Monday nights to post on Tuesday (instead of Tuesday nights to post on Wednesday). This actually gives you an extra couple days to work on your prompts. Sorry about the change-up. Don’t worry, though, we’ll remind you when what is due when we post.
So, you still have till tonight to respond to this week’s writing prompt, and then you’ll get a new drawing prompt on Wednesday.
In the meantime, put in a bid on this hamster/groundhog/squirrel/gerbil!
And for those of you who like bidding but don’t always remember, apparently there are a bunch of apps out there that you can automate to sneak in at the last minute (second, actually) with a winning bid. I think it’s called an “auction sniper”. I’m just telling you this to level the playing field. There are some ebay experts out there who can’t live without it.
