Here for you on this brisk fall Friday morning are two more submissions for last week’s drawing prompt, from sisters Allison and Claire.

Here is Allison’s drawing, titled “Boo.”

Living with Robbi (who is prone to do shocking things almost constantly), I’m glad that the various parts of me don’t turn red when I’m surprised. Otherwise, I would spend most of my time looking like Rudolph’s nose.

Claire’s drawing is called, “Run for Your Life,” a title which suggests a degree of urgency.

I like that Claire has left it up to our imaginations to determine just what is going on in this drawing. If you were to ask me for my interpretation (and, which you didn’t, I realize), I would say that there are two surprising things happening in this drawing: One is a fat pink cross between a hippopotamus and an ostrich and the other is a tall, brown ghost with a lollipop tree growing on top of his head. What they are doing and why they are trying to be surprising is unclear, but one thing I know for sure is that the person or thing being surprised is me!

Thanks Allison and Claire for your drawings. I hope you both are busy at work on your stories for this week!
