Usually, I stay up pretty late. On Monday night, I went to bed early, so I didn’t get this drawing from Calli until it was already too late to add it to the blog post with drawings of masks.

So, here it it is, a day late, but still pretty wonderful.

First, some thoughts from Calli’s mom, Jessica:

Calli’s mask picture is attached. She and Jeff worked on it while I was cooking. There was a lot of cutting and pasting, so I was very surprised when the mask picture did not include any cut and/or pasted pieces. I love this picture so much I want to frame it though. I love the little egg people she has started drawing lately. She says these people are all girls except the big bald one which is the Daddy one and the little bald one which is a boy baby. When I asked her about the masks she said they had eyes and noses. And when I asked her what the masks were like, are they scary or sparkly? What colors are they? She said the masks look how they want.

Though just a kid, Calli already has the sass to take her far in life. And speaking of sass, Alden has a new hairdo:

And a new drawing.

Though she swears that it’s not a mask, I can’t help but think it looks like one.
