Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!
Here’s a turkey Robbi drew. I don’t think we’re going to eat him. He’s so grumpy, I’d rather try to find a way to cheer him up.
You’re probably busy getting ready for a big Thanksgiving feast with your family. I can’t wait to eat stuffing. I love stuffing. I also love cranberry sauce. I also love green bean casserole. If I am to be truthful, there is not much about Thanksgiving that I do not like.
But my favorite part of the day, by far, is being with my family while good things bubble in pots on the stovetop. There’s something warm and comfortable and wonderful about today.
I hope that all of you have a great Thanksgiving. If you feel like it, leave a comment on this post and tell us what you’re thankful for.
Alden is thankful for rainbows.
Kato is thankful for toys. (I bet he’s thankful for other things, too, but I have to admit that toys are pretty great.)
August can’t talk yet, but at this moment, he seems to be thankful for scrambled eggs.
And Robbi is thankful for getting to sleep in this morning. At least I bet she is. I’ll let you know for sure when she gets up.
