We are excited to have received a second card with with the frightened cat, from Tabitha, who is three years old.
Here is what Tabitha’s mom had to say:
So, she’s not yet come into her own as an artist.
But, she’s three so I think her storytelling skills are key: she was adamant that the cat was surprised (by the purple light, perhaps?) and not scared.
And there you have it, surprised but not scared. The way you feel when you get an unexpected promotion or an unthreatening elephant suddenly shows up in your bathroom.
Or when a pink light appears in the hole in your baseboard, perhaps?
