Today we are happy to share another version of Gorillas we thought was particularly wonderful, this one by Valerie Tang, age 7, who happens to be the younger sister of Melody, whose book we posted last Tuesday.
As you read, I’m sure you will see how hard it was to pick just one winner for this contest. I just love Valerie’s story. It is incredibly sweet, and the drawings are great. If I were part of a family other than my own, I’d want it to be the family Valerie writes about in her book.
If I were a gorilla, I’d want to be illustrated by Valerie.
