Last year, we had a great surprise waiting for us when we arrived in Alaska. Puppies! A whole pack of them. Our neighbor Vern’s dog had just had a litter, and boy were they excited to see us.
Every day, we’d go over to check on the puppies. The kids took good care of them, sometimes feeding them. Sometimes giving them impromptu scrubs (tundra puppies are conspicuously dirty).
August was happy to have someone his own age to relate to.
For more pictures of puppies and the story of the missing puppy caper, have a look at this post from last summer.
