We figured that it might be better to give you a prompt before the weekend so that you can have the entire weekend to draw, paint, scratch, scrawl, stitch, stamp, or sculpt. So from now on, we’re going to post prompts on Friday and post your drawings on Tuesday.
With that in mind, here’s your next assignment…
You’re walking along on the surface of Mars when suddenly, something jumps out from behind a crater. What is it?

And here’s mine (who knew there were used car salesmen on Mars?):
I’m guessing that Robbi must love my drawing as much as I love hers, but for some reason, she hasn’t told me so yet.
The real question, however, is what do you see on Mars? Remember, it can be anything: a martian, a platypus, a toaster…anything.
Whatever you draw, take a picture or a scan and send it to us by dinner time on Monday night, and we’ll put it on the blog next Tuesday.
