Hello, I am Tilly.
I work with Matthew and Robbi, helping them with all sorts of things so that all you Bobbledy Kids can get your Bobbledy stuff.
Books are exciting to me, and making them is so much fun. That’s why I work with Matthew and Robbi. I once made a coloring book full of animal-like creatures that you won’t find in the zoo or in your backyard. It’s called “Creatures Coloring Book”.
When I draw creatures instead of animals, I can make new animals that I’ve never heard of. Some of my creatures wear elaborate accessories.
This is the Deer King and his noble steed who guides him through the forest. He wears bells across his antlers and below his knees to signal to all the woodland creatures that he is approaching. The serpents at his throat and hips represent the pair of twin two-headed serpents that he defeated when he was just 1 day old.
Other creatures that I drew do silly things like stand on top of balloons,
or on top of each other.
That’s the corner in the hallway where snails meet every night to be as silly as possible before they go back to being regular old slow-moving snails.
Bobbledy blog readers, I want you to draw some creatures! Here’s the prompt for this week:
Imagine some creatures! Will they have tails? Will they crawl? Will they be with friends on a mountain? Will they be battling a swarm of stinging insects? Try to make your creature more fierce, fantastical, or flamboyant than your favorite wild animals. I can’t wait to see what you draw!
When you’re done with your drawing, scan it or take a picture of it and send it to Matthew so he can post it next Tuesday for everyone to see.
