Hello everyone! My my, Tuesday has rolled around again (how does this keep happening?!) and so it is time for some DRAWING.
I was thinking about bicycles, and about the question of what kind of bicycle I would invent – and what it would do. Mostly, I would want for my bicycle to be comfortable. Soft. A place to relax, and maybe do some less-than-strenuous pedaling now and then. So, I thought I would make a bicycle with a soft leather recliner seat. And then I thought – who better to ride a reclining bicycle than a sloth?! And so…
SLOTH ON A BIKE!

Alden’s going to ride her bike to Uncle Alex’s wedding this weekend. Apparently, there are going to be a lot of people attending – you can see all the people sitting in the stands to the right. Maybe he’s getting married in a baseball stadium?
Alden also drew a picture of the whole family riding bikes to the park. We make quite a ridiculous show.
You might think that Kato’s drawing is of ET and Eliot on a bike (given that “ET” is written right up front where ET rode). No – the ET is just the last letters of “Chicco Red Bullet,” the name of Kato’s bike. Since “Chicco Red Bullet” took up way too much room, the letters just got distributed wherever they landed one the whole body of the bike was full.
[Sorry we’re late to the party. Simon’s school is closed today, so he was inspired to get in on the velo-action.]
This is a bike with square wheels! It has three wheels like normal bikes but it has only two wheels that can roll on the ground! This bike belongs to a person called Xavier. That’s all!
Simon! I admire the addition of the extraneous wheel! If you’ve got two square wheels, what’s another, stacked up and useless as it is? This is clearly an art installation that belongs in a museum and costs $200,000.
(Don’t tell Xavier)
The triangle bike has triangle wheels! There’s another thing that’s special about it — you can sleep in it! And that’s all.
Oh man. I love anything that can be slept in (which, for me, is just about anything). This bike is genius. Genius!!
