Hello, everyone (but mostly people who live in or near Chestertown)!

Next Friday night, December 7, when all of Chestertown is out wandering around sampling the crisp late fall air in the frenzied social outburst of shopping and cheese nibbling known as First Friday, Robbi and I will be giving our very first Bobbledy Books reading. We will read aloud from The Girl With Frogs in Her Ears and Bobby and the Robot and My Henderson Robot and perhaps even St. Michaels, The Town that Fooled the British.

Here is the colorful poster our intern Tilly designed:

There is one important factual error in the poster above. There will not be cake. But there will be lots of animal crackers, and you will be encouraged to eat them.

We’ll also be selling books and signing them. And if anyone wants a hug, we’ll be giving those away for free. Please come by and say hello, at the least.

We’d love to see you there!

That’s Friday, December 7, from 5:30pm-6:30pm at Bookplate on Cross Street in Chestertown.

We’ll remind you again, but for now, we wanted to give you a chance to put it on your calendar.
