For a while now, we’ve been wondering how many kids, if any, would take the time to finish their copies of Gorillas in the Kitchen. After all, it takes a lot of work to write a book, and even more work to write a book and illustrate it.
We wondered and we worried. What if no one entered the contest?
Saturday was the deadline for kids to send their books back to us. As it turns out, we needn’t have worried. We got lots of books from lots of kids.

Now comes the fun part. The part we have been waiting for. Now we get to read them.
