It’s Friday and so it’s time for a new drawing prompt. A couple of years ago, Robbi and I were asked to write and illustrate a book about Super Heroes.
It wasn’t the sort of thing we were used to doing, but it was fun. It’s called The Super Hero Squad Flips Out.
Writing stories about superheroes made me think about how fun it would be to have a super power, and wear a strange and colorful costume. And thinking about these things today makes me want to draw a picture of myself as a super hero. And drawing a picture of myself as a superhero makes me wonder what sort of super heroes all of you would be. ‘
And so, this week’s drawing prompt is:
If you were a superhero, what would your name be? And what would your power be? And what would you look like?
Here I am, The Big Bad Burrito. My power is shooting is shooting burritos out of my left arm. When I shoot burritos, they boomerang back and land in my mouth. Oh, and I’m 50 feet tall. And light blue.
I really, really wish I were The Big Bad Burrito.
And here’s Robbi, AKA, The Robbler.
Her superpower is the ability to stun her enemies with a single bass riff. Though I’m guessing her scary teeth have something to do with it, too.
